Either a 9/16" or 14mm will work, the best is a thin wall socket to get onto the bolt head on a synthetic stock but a regular socket will work fine also, you just have to push a bit to get it seated on the bolt head, no problem....you will have to use at least a long extension or perhaps a long and a short to reach the bolt....<><....

Thanks MSP,
I got them changed around last night.
I moved a stock from my shotgun/muzzle loader frame to the rimfire frame...then put the new shotgun stock on the shotgun frame.

the shotgun stock was about an inch longer than the rest and came new with a butt plate rather than a recoil pad.

I have them the way I want them.....atleast for now :)

Thanks again
