I think you could find a basic T/C Omega for around the cost of the Pursuit. I guarantee it is easier to clean, and much more reliable. I have owned 2 Traditions firearms. Both had HORRIBLE triggers, both required a lot of shooting before the rifling burrs wore down and allowed them to shoot accurately. The most recent was a Lightning LD inline, and I don't use it anymore because the firing mechanism became unreliable in only 2.5 years.
Even if you drop $50 more per gun, I'd go with the Omega. That or a low-end Knight (but I don't like those because you have to buy their discs).
Cleaning the Omega: A) run several patches thru barrel (if you use Triple Seven, this is only 4-5 patches). B) Remove breechplug, soak in warm water. C) finish cleaning the barrel. D) Use a Q-tip to clean token blowback in breech area. E) Clean breech plug. F) Oil everything and reassemble.
T/C doesn't even recommend removing the plug I believe. Their lesser cleaning takes 5 minutes....my anal procedure gets out every speck and takes 10-15 minutes. You'll be kicking back and cracking a beer before your wife even has the dish in the oven!
