223 Twist rate for Barnes X & TSX?

Plan to load Barnes 53 grain X & TSX for another guy's flat top AR-15.  I think it's a 1-9 twist, maybe 1-7.  Will the 53 grain Barnes perform well with the fast twist?  Also, should the bullet be seated to standard COL or can I go .050 from the lands for the AR-15?

Your magazine will limit the proximity of the bullet to lands more than anything in my experiance.
