Laminate vs. Hardwood

What is the advantage of the laminate over the hardwood stock for the ultra slug hunter? Is it weaker or stronger? I am going to buy a ultra slug hunter deluxe and it has the laminate, it feels heavy but the weight makes no difference to me, what is the purpose of it, i am going to get it because it looks cool, but is it weaker or stronger?

Laminate stocks, are generally heavier, and stronger, and more resistant to warpage from moisture.  Like you, I think they look COOL on my H&R/NEF guns.

The camo laminate stock on my .280 Limited Edition Handi was the selling point for me. It was beautiful. The medallion is kinda cool, too. It was a nice touch for H&R to add that blue color into the camo laminate.
