cleaning air gun

hey the other day i was walking in the woods and sliped and my gun went into the water.it got soaked all the way through and now i would like some advice on how to get the sand and rust out of my gun ......thanx

what type of gun is it?
If its a break barrel I suggest you contact your dealer, the maker, or top of the line smith Russ Best for advice at:
http://www.airgunshow.net/Bestunes.htm
If its Benjamin pump or similar you might contact Crosman/Benjamin/Sheridan, or I think an outfit called Crooked Barn - do a google search.
There are other airgun specialists who might help - or hopefully some more experienced readers will chime in here.
