Parts for Marlin 1893 Rifle
« on: October 11, 2004, 05:49:42 AM »
Shipmates,
I have an 1893 Marlin that is in excellent condition chambered for 32 Winchester Special.  Problem is that the part of the firing pin that extends out the back of the bolt to be struck by the hammer is broken and I've been unable to find one anywhere.  Does anyone know who may have such an item?  I'd like to get this baby shooting.

thanks and regards,
 graycg

I wonder if a 336 firing pin would work. If not I'm sure someone can answer your question for you.

Good luck.

I have some rear firing pin halves, but are you sure it's broken? They are cut at an angle, so they ride over the hammer, and may appear broken because of the beveled edge.
Drop me an email if you want specifics.
