Howdy,
A buddy of mine and I were thinking of getting the Ruger 10/22 Target model to shoot silhouette. We already have good bolt guns, but think these would be a hoot. What kind of accuracy can you get out of the Rugers at say, 50 or 100yards? I see a lot of shooters convert them by adding aftermarket barrels, etc. Again; any major improvement with this? I also see a Ruger clone on the market; the STI. It costs more, and has a threaded bbl and one piece receiver/ scope base, etc, and upgraded trigger. Any comments on this make?
