My 3rd lever!, Wife helped!

Yup, didn't really figure I should be thinking about a new toy at the moment, as this is a nearly inert time of the year for my business.  After forfeting my "get out of jail free card" the Mrs volunteered to kick in a couple hundred. Went to the gun store and found a Win 94 22mag last week. The guy said it was $299. Went back today and he again said it was $299, but there was no price tag hangin on it. I had earlier called a couple other places and found them to be at about $389, one place had a sale on for 10% off that. So I commenced to proceed with the paper work. He said he'd get the box. Came back and said OH I was wrong it's $399. There just so happened to be a bunch of customers standing around who heard all this so he says "It  was my mistake so I give it to ya fer $350". Was considering an 882 SS marlin but I got the lever bug bad and don't want to insult the other traditional old timey looking blued steel & wood in the safe so... Can't wait to shoot it. But it barely went above 0 today. I will shoot her tomarrow regardless. May not have the K 2.5 weaver on then so I will come back later on 100yard plus tests. Yup I knew in 1979 that she (wife) was a keeper fer sure.

They are nice little guns. Mine will shoot about .75" at 100 yds with Federal HPs. I have a Simmons 22 mag compact on mine which makes a neat little package.  Good enough to pop a few prarie dogs out to about 200 yds. The only problems I have had is that when a fired cartridge is left in the chamber for any period of time (I usually do this so I don't have a live round in the chamber when getting in and out of the vehicle) it will stick and the extractor will slip leaving the case in the chamber. And the tube for the magazine liked to pop out if bumped but I solved that by installing a rubber washer for extra tension. I got mine in like new condition for about $300.
Just another worthless opinion!!
