Headed off to moose camp yet? I'll be going this weekend for a week of peace and quiet, with the boys. They got an addition to the sleeping quarters done this fall, so we won't have to double up anymore too. for a change the ministry sent us a bull tag. Let's see if Murphy's law plays into that. :?

I was up for a bowhunt a couple of weeks ago, but the weather was warm and they weren't answering the call.  One guy saw one at about 300 yds (he needs a magnum bow now  ), and I saw a bear at a spot that my buddy had called at earlier.  We saw some tracks made over night, but nothing big enough to get the juices flowing.

For the gun hunt in zone 47 no one was drawn, so two of us are going in on saturday (for a week) for calves.  It should be a quiet and relaxed hunt, and you never know.....

We saw lots of adult tracks when we were in on a work party in september.

Good luck on your hunt, my cousin has seen a lot of moose this year around his cottage in Lutterworth Twp.
Hunting is Exciting!  Bolt actions are BORING!!
Don't mix the two!
