Anyone know a source for an aftermarket breach plug that doesn't require the carriers.

I look for aftermarket products all the time for all my NEF's.  Haven't seen one yet.  I'm wondering about the notch in the barrel for the tab on the primer carrier.  If in fact you found a breech plug that didn't require a primer carrier, would you get flashback through the notch????   I'm not able to check it out right now, I'm at work.

The carriers are one of the best things I like about the Huntsman.  I have a hard time understanding why anyone would want to not use them.  Differant strokes for differant folks, but they are sure easier to handle than primers alone.  No capping tool to mess with.  And you know in an instant wheather it's primed or not.  They don't seem to wear out either.  I'm still using the first two out of the original five.  I've shot hundreds of rounds with them.  When I get home I spray them down with Windex and scrub them with an old toothbrush, rinse them with water then let them dry.  They are still plyable and work just fine.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I like them myself. I carry 3 primed and ready for use in a plastic film canister. Handy and waterproof.
