No. 4 MK1s from Centerfire
« on: October 13, 2004, 12:35:10 PM »
I just ordered two No.4 MK1 Enfields from Centerfire systems.  They have them on sale until Nov. @ $79 a pop.  From what I've seen on other forums these are a great deal, especially if you're looking for a shooter.  I'll update this post when they arrive and I've had a chance to shoot them for those who are interested in enfields.  These two will be my first ones.

Good luck, Centerfire systems are a bunch of thieves. I've never had had good service and I highly recommend that you stay away from them. Hope you get what you ordered, if not you'll have to pay for it.

They're probably pretty ugly for $79.

Actually I've had pretty good luck with Centerfire in the past.  Not as good as with CDNN, J&G but better than AIM and some others.  Admittedly any time you buy something sight unseen it is a crap shoot.  For $79 I expect ugly but I'm hoping they will shoot well.  If they do that I will be happy.  Further, Centerfire is guaranteeing the bolts and receivers will match.  Some recent recipients on other forums have reported all matching #s on their rifles.  I'll let you know what I get if you're interested.  Good, bad or ugly.
