I am trying to find a good deal on a 15"Stainless 7mm-08 Encore barrel.
I've looked over this site and bits and pieces are coming out on it as a great round,.. but not shooting out of anything less than the 15" barrel.

Let's hear more. :lol: please!!

I'm pretty set on a 15' barrel before I start, but any input from folks that care to comment would be appreciated. Also don't forget if you know where I can fine one at a decent price,.. new if possible Thanks.

Let's see, it was the last saturday or regular firearm season, I shot a deer at about 120 yards, it went about 35 to 40 yards before it dropped, and I used a T/C Encore 7mm-08 with a 12" barrel, so I am pretty happy with mine. Good luck finding your barrel.

I have a SS 15" Encore and like it very much. The first one I had was bored off center and TC replaced it. This one will shoot under an inch if I do my part. Recoil is mild to me and it seems to shoot a variety of bullet weights well from 115-160, some better than others. Took a buck last year at 75 yards and he only made it about 10 yards. Used a 140 ballistic tip @ 2575. Couldn't get any bucks to cooperate this weekend yet though.
