Coat your vanes with baby powder.  If they're hitting your rest, you should be able to see white powder on the rest where they are hitting.

I've paper tuned my bow and had it shooting bullet holes, only to watch my arrow fishtail on the 3D Range.  I've found that after I shoot for a while, and get tired, I'll start putting torque in my bow.  When the arrow leaves the string, it causes it to fishtail, even from a properly tuned bow.

Have you shot it through paper yet?

my odd vane was hittin the rest . with a little adjustment i took care of that and WOW what differince . so with that fixed i started to set the sights i sarted at 10 yards and got it set . went 20 yards to set my next pin and shot high so i shot my 10 yard pin from 20 yards . that pin shot 3-4 " low . i went back 30 yards and my second pin and got it set . i cant beleave that a bow can shoot that flat . i'm shootin 10 - 15 - 20 yards with the same pin . with about 3 " differince between them.  heck i still have two more pins to set . a this rate ill be shootin 50 - 60 yards with the last pin (LOL) . does this seem rite . my old martin had a 10 - 20 - 30 yard pins and you could'nt shoot from 20 yards with the 10 yard pin . thanks for your help Wlscott .

If you're bow is shooting fast enough, it's normal to use the same pin out to 20 yards, then a 30 yard pin, and a 40 yard pin.

Have you chrono'd your bow to see how fast it's shooting?

You don't have to chrono it.  I jsut like to know how fast I'm shooting.

Sounds like you're ready to go.  Let me know how  your season goes.
