1903 A3 value?
« on: October 15, 2004, 12:40:21 PM »
A guy I met at the range is very interested in my 1903 A3 (Smith Corona).  It's not in pristine condition (6 or 7 on a ten scale) but it's solid and NOT sporterized.  I have no idea of it's value.  What price range are they selling for these days?

pathfinder,
Even though you say it is in less than prime condition, spend a little time searching on the net for 03-A3's and see what they're asking for them.  You know the on-line auctions, etc.  There are allot of sites on line for collectors too.  Go to Google and put in milsurps 03-A3 or something like that.  I'll just bet you could get $400-500 for a good shooter that is original with same s/n and stocks!  Heck...they get that much for sporters cut-down!

if you are going to sell your 03a3, the smith corona is a premeium 03a3 and should command top prices depending on cond part matching....sc03a3
