Thicker Lock-up springs

:D Has any one here tried the new lock-up springs that are 33% thicker, to give the encore barrel a tighter, more reliable, and repetitive lock-up?

Stronger springs

As a confirmed tinkerer, I had to give them a try - they do seem to lock up tighter.  Now, if they would just make me a better shot.....the Encore I put it in shoots about a quarter of an inch most of the time.  I can't say it shoots better with the stronger spring or not.  I feel better using it.  The Encore locks up like a bank vault in the first place, now it just sounds better doing it.

I thought that was what you all were talking about. Just go to any good hardware store, take your old spring with you to compare and find one like you want. You may need to shorten it to length but thats no big deal.  KN
