I am looking for the most accurate loads that you can shoot out of the 22-250. It will be shot out of a 26' encore barrel. I would like it to be with a 55gr bullet but it does not have to be.

The most accurate load with mine is Sierra 55gr. bullet over a charge of IMR3031. Data is upstairs and i am leaving for work. Don't have time to check it now.

5-shots at 200-yards
Firearm: Ruger 77V in .22-250 Remington
Case: Remington
Primer: Remington 9-1/2
Powder: 39.2 grains of H-414
Bullet: Sierra 55 grain Spitzer Boat Tail
Velocity: 3410 FPS @ 15' from muzzle

50gr Hornady V-Max moly, 40.5 grs H 414, Win cases neck turned. Win wlr primers. Seated .005 off the lands. Shoots 1/4" all day.( Loads are all checked for runout on a Sinclair concentricty guage) Yep! good loads take some work, and good equipment. This load also works well with 52 gr. Berger/moly MEF.

Here's another. Try AA 2230C 33.5 grains with 40 grain V-Max or Sierra 52 grain MatchKing, both shoot under 1/2" in my Rem 700 HB.

Your rifle might like this receipe, or it may not...

Try 38.5 grns. of Reloader 15 with a 50 grn. Nos. BT using CCI Benchrest primers! My rifle loves it!
