I purchased a Walther LG300 Jr 10 meter target rifle for use as in the target rifle class of air rifle metallic silhouette. The rifle is very accurate but is a little on the light side (hard to hold steady). I would like to add some weight to the rifle. I talked to Greg Conner about my options and he said that any weight added had to be done with Walther factory parts. I asked about replacing the aluminum air cylinder that came on the rifle with the Walther Dominator steel air cylinder (with the quick connect fitting) and he seemed to think that this would be ok since it was a factory part. This would increase the weight of the rifle by a little more than one pound and have some other advantages. Does anyone out there see any problems with doing this (would you DQ this rifle at a match you are running)? Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.
