I saw a Baikal IZ 70  380 semi for 125.00  
Good price or not?  Seemed to be in great shape.

I think the price sounds good.  However, I would look for a Makarov in 9X18 caliber.  9X18 is much less expensive and a little more powerful than .380.

yeah but 9x18 rounds are more expensive unless u get junk surplus, an ther really hard to find localy a lot of times i have one, good shells were around 14$ a box for american eagles at one time when you could get them
were 380s are all ways found an at least in pa were im from ther all ways on sale for like 6$ a box

Look at this way, if you get a pistol in 9mm Mak. like a PA-63, you can still shoot .380's out of it if you like. Domestic ammo in 9X18 is pretty expensive, I started reloading my own taking 9X19 cases and trimming them to size, then loading them with Hornady XTP's.

I've been buying 9X18 for about $6/box of 50 when bought a 1,000 round case at a time.  That is Barnaul brand, 95 gr. JHP.  Never have had a problem of any king with the gun or ammo.
