« on: October 21, 2004, 08:39:44 AM »
hello, i have a question.
What is the difference between the sb1 and sb2 frames? on the H&R tracker 1/2  is that as sb1 or sb2 frame? a guy has one that i'm gonna try to get. he only wants $80 and wanted to know if i could get a 45-70 bbl for it.
thanks

SSS,
I have only been a Handi fan for about 8 months now but as I understand, the SB1 is a low pressure, i.e., shotgun frame, whereas the SB2 is a heat treated high pressure frame for the centerfire cartridges.  There has been a bunch of discussion about these frames.  Do a search for SB1 and SB2.  Plenty of info available.
