I have a old savage 340 that is a family owned gun sence it was new.Maybe has 200 hunderd rounds through it.
Anyway was thinking of getting anoughter one and ream it out to the 30/30 ak improved.
Is this a pretty much ream and fireform job?Or would I have feed problems with this round and gun?

All you need do is have a smith rechamber to 30/30AI. No other changes needed. Both rounds will feed reliably & interchangably.

I recommend you contact BILL MORROW, in Lacey; tel:360-491-5456, Mon-Sat: 1-9pm. Tell him a crusty old Warrant Officer named Dave sent you; he does good work.
