Bottlenecked cartridges traditionally do not function well in revolvers; perhaps MR has licked that problem. I'd want to see a report or two first... :roll:
As for cheap plinking, you'd have to buy a
LOT of surplus ammo to save any money on the BFR. Even if it were chamgered in 7.62x39 it would still cost $999; a Ruger Blackhawk in .30 Carbine costs just $450, both retail. $549 is a
lot to make up in ammo cost savings for two cheap surplus rounds!
