Does anyone know if there are replacment sights for the SBH ? I have a 44 mag that I would like to have better sights for using in low light conditions for deer hunting early morning or late evening.

Most of the large sight makers have a Ruger SA sight of some sort. The Bowen is proberly one of the better ones.  I've seen a pic of some tru-glo type sights but not sure ofht emakr or application.  Maybe try posting this question to the folks at www.rugerforum.com for a better answer.

I have a couple of Rugers that Ken Kelly at Mag-na-port has installed c-more front sights on.  I really like them.  I have the blaze orange but many people also like the green.  You still get a flat topped sight picture for precision shooting.  That's my beef with the tru-glo.  You eye is drawn to the bright insert.  You put that on the target, and shoot high!  Bowen's rear sight looks a little neater than the Ruger stock sight but I can't see any real advantage.  both give you a nice, square sight picture.  44 Man
