Sabatti rifles?

Has anyone had any experience with Sabatti rifles?
I know they make shotguns primarily but they also have a few models of rifle that seem like good value.
Apparently the action is similar to a Rem 700 action with the addition of a Sako style extractor.

Did you ever buy one? if so, how's yours?

I've seen one yesterday, handled it for a while and ordered it, will get it this weekend.
I came home and searched for it on the internet, didn't found very much about those.

Mine'll be a .222 Rem. benchrest rifle.
heavy barrel, no open sights.

How long have they been around? I haven't seen any Sabatti rifles. From what you said about them sounds good. :D

just bought 'em, ...
Sabatti Rover Cal. .222Rem

Custom stock (benchrest, monte carlo), nicest wood I've ever seen (price was somewhat higher than the normal ones, because of the custom stock and other things that were done( trigger is very light, but don't know whether or not they're standard like that).
There was another in .243, but the stock wasn't as nice as this one. though the price was the same...

Will have to find scope mounts for this rifle, and a scope... (bull barrel, no iron sights).

Never did end up buying a Sabatti, Nero.
I would be interested sometime down the track depending on what happens with a few other things.
At the end of the day however I was after a rifle in an uncommon cartridge.....7x57, or at least not commonly chambered today.
There was some talk that I'd be able to special order it but there are other ways to skin a cat so I'm going about things a little differently.
I do like their break open single shot though.
It looks gorgeous.
