How many of you have factory 17 HMR 14" barrels, and how do they shoot? Was thinking about getting one for practice. Do they shoot MOA? :D

Mine will shoot that good.  I keep thinking of getting rid of mine because it really has no use for me, but have been keeping it because it shoots so good.

Cool, i went ahead and ordered one today for $178. NIB. Seemed like a good price to me. I see hornady offers 20 gr. XTPs for it, that seems like it would be a great small game bullet. Let me know what your favorite ammo is- Thanks, Tad :D

My 16.25" HMR barrel will average around .7 MOA with the 17 grain Hornady's  and  .9 MOA  with the 20 grain Hornadys. It opens up to around 2.5 MOA with CCI ammo.
