I want to work up a load for my Win. 94 44 Mag rifle using a 240 gr jhp bullet and H110 powder. I have read that 24 gr is the maximum load but can't find any info on what the minimum load would be. Would 21 gr a safe? TIA.

Go to
www.hodgdon.com
for the data. The problem with H110 is that it's made to be loaded near case capacity and going too low supposedly increases pressure, so it's not as versatile as some other powders. On the other hand, you get the fastest full power loads with it. The Warnings page at Hodgdon says to start by reducing the published load by 10 percent and working up.
