walmart special order question?

went to order a handi youth in .223 with the wood stock. on the nef website and on the walmart special order website, the handi is shown with the new straight rounded off forend, that's what i want. in the special order catalog at the store it shows the rifle with the older beavertail forend, which i don't want. the lady said that what is in the book is what they get. anybody ordered a handi from wally world lately? if so, what kind of forend did you end up with?

If you are describing the older slight schnable end of the forearm as a beavertail I don't think they make any of that style anymore. That may be just an old picture or last years catalog....<><.... :grin:
