Black mag3 pellets are there any made?

Hi guys you have my attention with this product can you tell me if there are any pellets available or will there ever be? Sounds like a good powder.

No there are no pellets for Black Mag 3. There will likely not be for some time because Hodgdon has a patent on pellets. You may or may not remember, but this is the reason clean shot originally went out of buisiness. American Pioneer (successor to clean shot) has got around it with their "sticks".

I doubt the the pellets will be coming soon either. I'm not even sure that the powder is conducive to making a solid form. Personally I am not a fan of pellets anyway due to the variation in weight of the ones I have had experience with and the inability of making smaller changes in load which is possible with loose powder. The sticks from American Pioneer are all over the map for weight (the bottle that I have will likely be used for making noise only). I doubt that you could get much consistency with the variation in weight that I found.
