Need help quick....

:oops:  Brought home my new 39a mountie, and took it down to clean and inspect closely,,everything is OK and little wear evident. But why am I having such a problem getting the two receiver halfs and bolt back together smoothly??....any tips will be appreciated.

I'm thinking this rifle has not been taken apart often, if at all in the past. If this is the case re-assembly will be a little tight the first few times. Did you have to bump the side of the muzzle to get it apart? If so, you may have to reverse the procedure to get it back together. Almost like you're trying to break the rifle in the opposite way it comes apart. I had the same experience with a NIB 1897CL I purchased from a collector.
