need some info on a savge mark2 bull barrell bolt .22lr

hey guys i need some info on a savage mark 2 bull barrell, laminated grey stock, no sights .22lr bolt action rifle..how accurate is it? how much do they cost new? it has had a trigger job too. thinking of purchasing it off a friend who just sunk $430 in his 10-22 ruger and needs the money .the gun is flawless with no scope [he swiped it for his ruger] :cry: any info preciated!!!!

I have the MKII,with the plastic black stock.At fifty yards,with Wolf ammo,it will make one 5 shot  hole. I changed my trigger,also.The cost,of my model,was $219.
I am now ready to sell all my other 22's!!!!!!!!!

I have the very gun you are talking about.  I paid about 220 for it and love it.  Very accurate and not at all picky about ammo.  Factory mags are a little on the crude side.  Overall a great value.
