Disc Elite & Leupold QR scope mounts

Has anyone mounted a 40mm scope on a Knight Disc Elite using Leupold's QR bases and rings?  If so, what rings did you use, low or medium?  I know the Leupold site recommends low rings but they also said low rings for my Omega and the scope rested on the barrel.  I had to send them back in and trade for medium rings.  I don't want to do this again for the Elite, hope to get the correct rings the first time.  Thanks!

I have a 40mm Bushnell 6x sportview mounted with low rings (QR) on my Elite. It is real close between the bell and barrel. I would go with medium rings, and then you could your scopecovers, I cannot. I am not sure how well a 3200 3-9x40 would work, medium rings would be the best way to go.
