Well, about that time of the year again . . .

. . . to start trapping. :-D  :twisted: Last year was my first year trapping, and me a partner got two coyotes and two magpies (accidental) , and a couple of near misses. :grin: This year, now that we know where the coyotes go and what trails they take, they're gonna get their up-and-comings.

I'll be dropping traps in about a week and a half.

How about you guys?

coyotes are open season.but everything else is nov.10th.

Yeah, I know, but I never did quite understand that part. What happens, or what is one suppose to do, if they trap something other THAN a coyote? I'd rather just wait until I can trap everything legally at the same time of the year instead of just one species or two and the rest being closed.

Amen to that dont really see the point on settin for coyotes then the fact you could get in trouble if you accidentally cought a coon.  Why risk it is what i figure
