Kind of need a little more description on them.  Is there any wording that makes a reference of "magnum primers" anywhere on the carton?  It should if they are mags.  Patriot

The Federal 205M is a match primer, kinda like the CCI BR-4 bench rest primers.

I don't like magnum primers in any 223 loads. They nearly always cause erratic velocities with just about any powder/bullet combination. In most situations, standard strength primers will do all you want.

CCI 400s are as good as any. I do prefer the CCI BR-4s in most of my small rifle loads though, as they've proven to be extremely uniform, and have always given me good accuracy.
