Ruger Trigger Adjustment

I have a couple older tang safety Ruger M77 rifles. I notice there is a screw at the back of the trigger where it mounts to the action. Is the trigger pull adjustable on these rifles?

The pre-MKII models had adjustable triggers----and the biggest complaint about the newer models is how heavy the trigger is.
