I was on Precision Rifle website the other day looking up info on the 25 ACP conversion for my Encore. I saw this loading-cleaning jag called the Super Rat. Looks like it screws onto your ramrod but is made to rotate when loading a bullet or cleaning with a patch.

I talked to Cecil when I ordered my stuff. He said it makes the sabot/bullet easier to load and more accurate down range because sabot/bullet follow the rifling with less resistance. Makes sense to me.

I have on on the way. Figured I'm ordering the 25 ACP conversion might as well drop another $14.00 and give the Super Rat a try.

Has anyone tried the Super Rat yet? If so please let me know if it works. If not I hope to let you know my findings and opinion next week sometime.

The super rat works great. I got one awhile back and use it to load my 195 gr. Dead Center Duplex sabots. I will try anything that may improve accuracy.

Just got one in the mail early this week...

I have yet to try it since our High School football team has gone farther in the tournament. I am going to try it this weekend.
