1st grouse of the season !!!

saturday morning, my dog and i went for a walk down the road (at camp) and two nice ruffed grouse flushed and headed into the woods. i was carrying my 410 synthetic pardner and got the second grouse just as he was entering the woods.

that was great way to the start things off this season.

had a real good dinner !

Congrats on a good start to the season. I haven't gotten out much yet but can't wait to put my busy season at work behind me and shoot a couple squirrels.
