i will be using a british .303 for deer hunting this year. today i bought a box of pmc .303 amo for 17.00 but its made in usa any one use this amo. also i am shooting a enfield thats been sportsterized.

The 303 is a good game round that is well proven worldwide. I''ve not used the PMC round, as I handload the 303, but it should work well. Good luck.

Which PMC load did you buy? They all should work fine except of course the FMJ. I haven't used it in rifles only pistols but it is quality ammo.

I think you will do fine with yout 303 brit and PMC ammo. There have been many a deer put to rest with that combo. Good luck......Joe.........

Up here in Canada the boys have shot a fair share of moose with the 303.

The mark 4 seems to have less barrel whip than maybe some of the older versions. If the rifling is good one need to be shy walking around with this ol' war horse.You learn quickly to stack your rims one in front of the other in the mag.
Have hunted many years myself with a cut down Mark 4.

The 303 is a fine big game round. In fact don't be surprised if the deer keel over from a heart attack when they see you raise the thing at them :lol:

Sporterised models are fine. The only drawback it may have is bigger recoil but if you have a decent pad it won't worry you. Any bullet 150gn or heavier will quite effectively knock down deer. .303 bullets don't move that fast out of the barrel but whatever gets hit stays hit.

If you get around to reloading Woodleigh of Australia makes some excellent bonded core bullets including a 215gn RNSN.
