I like cooler weather! Lead pot is a going

Well, it finally happened; we got a cool front and the weather is plumb nice here along the gulf coast.  Been about 74* and a might windy but I'll take it.

Got to cast a bit for the pards, my brother and me.  Got 22 lbs of lead through the pot in an hour.  Combination of 200 gr 45 Colt and 165 38 Sp.  Just got done sizing/lubing 42 lbs of 32 and 38 bullets yesterday so I'm one happy camper :grin:

Figure I'll get to sizing/lubing this batch during the rest of the week.  Life is good right now.

Up herre on the Great Plains it's a bit chill fer casting outofdoors. It can get difficult to keep the pot temps consistant when cold breezes 'r whistlin' around porch!

But I have access to a "shed" with an excellant exhaust fan and it's heated too. So reccospect I will get sum casting in later in the winter, after deer season ends in January! :grin:

I'd like to get a years supply of everything cast up, but I never seem to have time/materials altogether when I need/want em....but I manage sumhow! :wink:
