I was wondering if any one has some scrap piece of tanned dark brown leather(soft) around 2 inches wide about 4 ft. long they have no need for I am redoing a possible bag,right now the strap in more for a shoulder bag,would like to go over the shoulder and have it more on a angle :D

Have you tried the Tandy Corp. leather shops?  They're headquarters for Radio Shack if still in existance.  I would do a search on line for leaher supplies on Google.
