Maybe we should take up a collection for those who want to defect to Canada. But then again we shouldn't treat our neighbors that way. Lots of good folks in Canada. Maybe they should defect to France.
All I got say to these defectors is don't go away mad just go away
They need to take all their liberal friends with them.

It crossed my mind, today, that Europeans can not possibly understand Americans.  They have been programmed for generations in a socialist mind-set.  The concept of the "rugged individual", self-reliance, and private enterprise is simply not possible for them to understand!  A West-Texas businessman/ oilman is foreign to them as is a working-class man having a right to own a gun.
Unfortunately, the Northeast and Westcoast has become Europeanized.

Speaking of which. Has anyone a link to a map of the county vote distribution in this election like they showed last time? I've not seen one and would like to.

Man does that picture tell a story or what guys? Is it not amazing how such a tiny little bit of our country can almost determine the course of our future. Sure easy to see how living in such close proximity to each other has corrupted the morals of those folks and taken away their ability to think for themselves.

WOW!  You'll never see that map on TV!
I had no idea that the "left coast" was really only on the coast.
Look at Texas.  Only the counties of northern Mexico went blue.
Look at New Mexico.  Only artiste Taos and northern Mexico went blue.
Look at Maine, which went Kerry, but not its heartland.  All those Massholes?
Look at Vermont.  What's with those folk?  Too many New Yawkers among them?

It's really heartning to see that the Left is so isolated in little clusters, even though they have numbers.  As has been said, they're all city people.

Clearly folks, you can see how some of us easterners get an undeserved, bad rap.
If you look at New York state on the map, on the far west, right on Lake Erie, you will see a county on the tip of the lake that is not yet filled in...that is Erie County...it will be blue, because Buffalo is located there.
If the map were broken down further, there would only be a blue blotch on the tip of the lake...the rest of the county would be red (from the suburbs out).

Directly below Erie County is Cattaraugus Co., my home county...never has, never will be...blue!

Folks in most rural counties are more like midwesterners than what many folks picture as a "typical New Yorkers"

Those blue spots are a different breed of cat!
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Here in washington state we  have for years been divided down the crest of the Cascade Mts. the east half of the state has been solid republican and the west half solidly in lala land. This year we gained 5 counties in the western part of the state. Little by little we shall overcome
