First Squirrel hunt with my Marlin model 60
« on: November 05, 2004, 08:36:55 AM »
I have been hunting squirrel for the past four weeks with my NEF single shot shotguns.  But this atfernoon I decided to take my model 60 out and see what I could do with it.  I ended up with two squirrels. Not bad seeing that this is the first hunt with this gun this year.  Both shots were head shots they were dead before they hit the ground.  I think I'm going to use my modal 60 tomorrow morning for my saturday morning squirrel hunt.

I have lots of .22 but I got to tell you that I always seem to come back to my Marlin Model 60 when it comes to hunting.  It was my first rifle back when I was 16 (19 years ago   ).  Besides being an accurate little gun it hold sentimental value and good hunt memories.

Congrats!
