Went to the range (inlaws back yard) today to try out some new slugs in my Tracker II 12ga, the new "Lightfield Lights".
I am happy to report that these were extremely accurate making one large cloverleaf at 50yds, using 1-4 power BSA Catseye scope, shooting from truck tailgate.
As the name implies, the recoil was extremely light as well. I have a Dead Mule in the stock, but the gun still weighs only 6.5lbs with scope. Regular Premium Ammo is brutal, but these Lightfield Lights are more on par with a muzzleloader. More of a soft push than big hit in the shoulder.
I will be going out again tomorrow to test long range capability, but according to their website, should be good for 100yds point blank range.
