Just seen on TV today, that VP Cheney's wife has written a childs book. And all proceedes go to charity. And the book is about Washington crossing the Deleware and the defeat of the British, the hardships, the soliders without shoes, and giving our new nation hope when all seemed lost. She said it's for children but wants anybody to read it. I think it was said that it was slated for the 12 and under children.
Any how, I think that she has done a great thing writing about our history instead of some liberal writing about purple, gay, Tele-Tubby. :x It's about time some sense has been written for our children read.
Many THANKS to Mrs. Cheney, I for one, am very proud of her.

The whole story of the Continental army is phenomenal and very inspiring, from Valley Forge to Washington forcing his victorious army to submit to Congress at Newburgh.

Great story of devotion and sacrifice for kids.

Lynn Cheney was an accomplished author long before her husband became VP.
