Just remember, if you want a .454 Casull, buy a .454 Casull in lever action. Don't hurt yourself or anyone in the vicinity by doing something dumb and loading "hot" loads. I have a .454 Casull barrel for my Encore, love it, but only about half the time do I use true .454 Casull loads, the top end of the Ruger/TC loads for the .45 Colt (not Long Colt, cause there isn't a short Colt, just the .45 Colt
)in the manuals will do anything I need them to. That being said, it's still fun to load a 320 gr. cast with 27 gr. of H110 and know that I don't have to hold over a milk jug at 150 yds.! I'm not flaming you, just reminding you to be cautious, 200 fps doesn't have THAT much effect in the field, and I think quite a few people on here will agree with me.
