Well, I sighted my H&R ultra 243 win. in yesterday. It looks really good but should look even better by Friday. It is a Ultra reciever that is polished blue and a stainless barrel. I just ordered a set of camo laminated stock and forearm for it. Only had a chance to shoot it at 40 yards up at my buddy's cabin. I was using Remington 100 grain Corelocts. I was getting one ragged hole most of the time. More or less I was just fine tuning it. When I get a free weekend I'll put in back on the bench and see what kind of long range groups I can get out of it. I'm going to get some Winchester 100 grain power points and try them when I get a chance. I really like this gun. Seems to shot accurrate and no kick at all. I do not mind heavy recoiling guns but it sure is refeshing to hear the gun go off and not hardley feel it.
P.S. My TC G2 in 7-30 waters is simply amazing. You would not believe how good it shoots. It is wearing a 2x28 Weaver handgun scope.
