Does anyone have a hot load in 223 cal.I want it for coyotes.would like to have no exit holes if at all possible.You can make a few dollars if the pelts are not shot up to bad.14" barrel, thank you in advance. pan

When I was in North Dakota, I use to hunt for fox and coyotes with my .223. I used the 55 gr. FMJ bullets. I only got a small entrance and exit hole. The fur buyers were happy with the pelts I provided for them. I used a mid range load and it worked great.

The 40 and 45g Polymer tipped bullets work well over 29g of Varget.
This is over the factory Max
, so start at about 27g, and work up from there.
