I say keep it for sure!  Ive been wanting to get a chambering in .35 Whelen but still cant decide if I want to do it on a Mauser action instead of the T/C.  Ive done a bit of research on the Whelen and must say it is quite an impressive round!  You will be quite happy with it, Im sure.

:D chefmossy,
Is this 35 Whelen an rifle or pistol? What is the length of the barrel?
If you decide to part with it I would be interested in it!! E-mail me.

The whelen is an awesome general big game round.  IT is quite possibly the best all around elk/moose rifle that I can think of.  I have a 35 whelen Ruger 77 and have really enjoyed the caliber.  If you don't want to keep the barrel I can think of a few other people that would like it.
