Things are kind of slow here----so I figured I'd get the ball rolling on a new topic.

Rugers currently owned:

1. 10/22 Deluxe Sporter--stainless---had to make this one up on my own----found a Dlx Sptr with a beautifull walnut stock---then got an All Weather 10/22----put the stainless barrelled action in the walnut---and sold off the plastic/blued one left over.

2. 10/22 stainless/laminated Internatioal-----Wal mart special from about 10 years ago. Lipsey's.

3. P89T---Davidson's special

4. P90T---Davidson's special

5. SP101---2"---bobbed hammer---Hogue grips

6. 77 MKII All Weather Std model--.308---Zeiss DiaVari-C 3x9x36 scope---Boyt's leather sling.

7. Std blued Mini-14----Butler Creek folder----Bushmaster AK brake---PMI and Ruger factory 30-round mags-----and soon to be added Ultimak mount--with Hakko sight(Aimpoint knockoff).

I currently own quite a few Rugers with a P-345 being my latest purchase. I can't wait for the new 357 50th Anniversary Blackhawk to hit the stores. This will be a "gotta have" gun. The other new releases look promising too. Maybe a Mark III Hunter if they ever get the Loaded Chamber Indicator problem resolved.

I have a few Rugers and my last one is a .45 colt NMSBH Hunter from Lipsey's. My most accurate bolt action is a Ruger RFP in .243 with a Sightron scope sitting on top of it.

Currently in the gun case:

1- 10/22 Standard. This is the first firearm I ever owned. Have had it for over 22 years. Wish I had a penny for every round that I ever put through it.

2- Standard auto .22lr 6" barrel. Found it used for a good price a few years back. Fun gun for plinkin' and bummin' around in the woods. Fixed sights shoot to point of aim with Federal bulk pack.

3- Mark II Stainless 5 1/2" bull barrel with Tasco red dot. Federal bulk 10 shot groups at 25 yds. can be covered with a quarter easily. This gun shoots far better than I do. Love to hunt bushytails with this one. One of these days I'm gonna put a Volquartsen accurizing kit in it and try some higher quality ammo.

4- Super Redhawk .44mag with 2X leupold. Bought it last year with hopes of taking a whitetail with it. Never got a shot the few times I took it hunting. Hope to change that after season opens in my area on Monday. Gonna leave the shotgun home this year and hunt exclusively with the SRH.

On the wish list:

1- 22/45 of some sort. Love to plink with those Ruger autos.

2- .22mag rifle of one flavor or another. Most likely will be 10/22mag. But might consider 77/22 or 96/22. Don't really have a reason for wanting one, but do you need a reason?

3- .41mag Blackhawk because I don't have a .41 or a Blackhawk.

I had to think about this for a minute:

1. Blackhawk 'Made in the 200th year of American liberty' in 357 Mag. This was my first centerfire handgun, and it's had well over 5000 rounds through it, mostly full house magnums, and it's still shoots just as well today. It was knocked around quite a bit during the early years, and I eventually had Mag-Na-Port refinish it with their deluxe blueing, port the 1/2" barrel, and put a C-More front sight on it. It doesn't see as much range time as it used to, but I still use it.

2. Single Six 6 1/2" barrel with 22 mag cylinder.

3. GP100 4".

4. Blued Bearcat.

5. Stainless / sythetic 10/22 with a Bushnell Sportview 3X9X40 scope. This one is my daughter's rifle.

6. M77 MK2 blued / walnut in 30/06. I put a 4X12X40 Nikon Monarch on it.

7. Red Label 12 gauge 26" blued / walnut. Just got this one yesterday.

8. Almost forgot - Old Army 7 1/2" stainless bought in 1980.

What I would like to get in the future:
A Red Label 20 gauge for my wife, and a 77/17.

I want a 257 WBY and a .35 Whelen in the B model, a 26 inch barreled .45-70 S, and a #1 RSI in 7-30 Waters.
