204 barrels
« on: November 17, 2004, 12:01:45 PM »
I know some have the 204 guns, but has anyone got a 204 barrel through the accessory program?  If so, how much?  It  would be nice if before announcing new '05 calibers, NEF would get out all of the '04 offerings and stainless models and have these available for the barrel acc. program.  I believe the 17 h2, 22-250 and 204 complete guns have all been released now, but finding in stock items may be difficult.  Some of the stainless offerings are still not available.  Anyhow, if anyone has purchased the 204 barrel separately from NEF, please respond.  Is the muzzle blast noticably less than that of say a 223?  BuzzKill.

MarkA got his acc barrel after waiting 3 months for it after he sent  the frame in. The stainless .22-250 is available, saw a post from an owner on predatormasters. I didn't notice any difference in the muzzle blast between my .204 handi and the .223 handi, didn't pay much attention to it, though. I've only shot the 32gr Vmax, so far.

Buzz, quick is CORRECT, I does gots one!

1. Cost, total drive away, TT&L w/ ship was like $110 in blue, not SS.
2. My Ruger is a 20" barrel and it does have a BLAST, the NEF has less with the 22 incher, but you are burin' lots o stuff and 22 inches does not quite get it all.  Can be LOUD!
Thanks and Gig''em
