Dies interchangeable?

Can I reload 45-110 cases using my 45-70 dies?  The decapping stem doesn't seem to be long enough.   They are RCBS brand dies.

Lee sells something they call the Universal decapping die for about $10. I keep one on my bench for just this kinda stuff. Never done 45-110, but I have loaded an awful lot of stuff using some other die to neck size with and it should work.

For the time being, you can just knock primers out any way you can and go from there. Back your .45-70 dies out by the difference of the length in the two cases and have at it.

Well, the case for the .45-70 is 2.105" long, and the case for the .45-110 is 2.875" long...

That should answer your question...
