NY Gun Laws

What are the Gun Laws like for hunting in NY ?  I'm from Pennsylvania so things are probably different.

If they are anything like NJ laws I won't cross the border for any kind of hunting.

Hey don't sweat the gun laws.
A longgun in a case locked in the trunk or a hardcase is fine.  Just make sure that you keep the ammo separate.

Just don't bring a pistol.  You have to have a NY permit to carry one in the state.
